Heres the Eduard spitfire hf mkVIII in 1/72 , although this is the weekend edition its a very comprehensively detailed kit , beautifully tooled and only needing the addition of some etched belts ( belts are provided on the kit but only as decals ) finished with AK interactive laquer paints .

Cheers jim , i really enjoyed this , the eduard weekend kits are a lot more complete these days with usually two decal choices and the inclusion of decal seat belts - when they first introduced them you only had one choice of scheme and no seat belts at all .

Thanks joe , its a bit different from the usual spits seen modelled , some dont care for the extended tips but I think it still looks beautiful , i mean theres no such thing as an ugly spitfire right !

Cheers colin , like the hellcat its a very beautifully detailed kit , if not quite so easy to build as that one was . I’m really impressed with the eduard 1/72 kits , thats 3 ive done now , always on the lookout for more .
