Oh and this isn't the fine one, it's a free sample of the thick one. Rather appropriate for me

;)

I like it ,looks good, that would be a must to have about i think ,must get some

EZ Line is great stuff. Used it a couple of times now and I personally love it

I've been thinking of getting some of this for battleship rigging ,how flexible is it mate ?

Alan it stretches 3 times its original length before it breaks. That is the fine one.

Nice advantage with the black the more it stretches it changes to a mottled black which gives an appearance of galvanized weathered. I comes in different thickness's so mix and match your scale.

Also use Gold Zack which is an elastic knitting thread. That gives a stainless steel look. It can also be tinted with ink pens to the desired colour. Think this one probably has better elasticity lasting powers.

Also have some very fine round elastic which is about a millimetre across. Nice thing about this stuff tension it and it loses a bit of width. But it also gives a look of a steel hawser. Available at all haberdashery shops.

I find it too pricey, I use knitting in elastic from a knitting shop, its spot on for the 1:48th scale I use extremely flexible and sets almost instantly to any CA applied surface. I paid £4 for 200m of the knitting elastic

This gives the options of Knitting Elastic and if you do not have a haberdashery near. Also the second address above gives the thicker type which as mentioned above is useful for hawseers ropes etc. all depending on the scale.

Some of the knitting elastic is .5 millimetres wide some very fine.
