Fighting 48th M4A4 conversion

That picture is good, it shows the engine deck: it’s an M4 (“A0”) with small driver’s hatches, and it seems to be a fairly early vehicle. However, it’s a different tank from the dozer in your other photo: it has no additional armour plates on the hull side, which the first tank does have.

But as far as I can tell, you don't need an M4A4 specifically. The Italian Army seems to have used most Sherman variants, so if you just want one to put on a railway flat wagon, you can buy an M4, M4A1, M4A2 or M4A3 and just build it straight from the box. Going by Scalemates, both Hobby Boss and Tamiya have ones that should be suitable, for example:

You could also take the turret from the large-hatch M4A1 and put it on the hull of the large-hatch M4A3 if you want that turret but with an angular hull. Don’t put it on any of the small-hatch hulls, though.

I know nothing about it, but going by just that photo, it’s not a very good model. It’s an M4A4, yes, but it looks very crude. Like I said before do you absolutely need an M4A4 or will any Sherman do? Because a Tamiya or Hobby Boss kit of another variant will look a lot better than this one does, and you can buy probably three or four of them for the price of one of these … £70! That’s /me quickly looks it up €81.77! The Hobby Boss kits cost /me looks up some more €16–€25 each, the Tamiya ones about twice that …
