The kit seats were very non dis-script so I made some new ones hopefully they will look ok when painted up.

Next the four lashing points

The spare wheel had the bolt holes drilled out and the central hub removed. A tyre valve was added. Then a retaining bracket was made from pewter and a wing nut from the spares box.

Finally for today the rear light fitting was replaced with etch and the cables added from fine wire.

A bit of cleaning up to do which I have noticed on the pictures.

Another little update I must admit I am having fun with this.

Replaced the indistinct detail off the capstan? added some missing details to the rear end replaced the kit exhaust system and added some more bling here and there.

I still have to add the bolt detail to the windscreen stops.

Really excellent stuff. Raising this golden oldie to another level. Working with brittle plastic is horrible. You're constantly waiting for the "crack". I wonder why some plastic is like that - made that way or simply old age?

Hi Jim, Your right it is a pain you have to cut close to the sprue to prevent it from breaking on to the part leaving a lot to clean up.
