Hello Chaps,

First up a big thank you to PaulT for arranging this group build.

The kit was originally tooled by Hasegawa but has been re-released with new transfers and paint masks. As you may expect from a Hasegawa kit it has been a pretty straightforward build.

Build thread here: https://www.scalemodelling.co.uk/fo...72-bristol-beaufighter-mk-i/page2#post1268041

It has been finished in the markings of. No.25 squadron aircraft from the Summer of 1940z.

No.25 squadron were one of the first to receive these new aircraft to replace their less effective Blenheim night fighters.

Anyway, here are some photos 😊

Splendid work Geoff. Imagine being offered the keys to a Blenheim or a Beaufighter, easy choice I think.

Wonderful result Geoff. Not an aeroplane one associates with the period, so your Beaufighter is something different.

Thanks Colin 👍

Yes flying an aircraft quicker than the enemy planes you were hunting must have been a relief.

Nice one Geoff, looks great, cheers

Cheers Steven 😊

Thanks Joe, 👍

They only appeared towards the end of the battle so they are often overlooked.
