That does look like hours of enjoyment Steve!

It's really neat & symmetrical :)

Cheers

Very nice Steve looking forward to seeing the final camouflage.

Also learnt a new word. Fettling not come across that one in 75 years. To fettle "she fettles" not sure she will like that.

Masking looks good Steve, how long did it take you?
I've done about an hour or so over the last four days so about five hours so far. I still have the undersides of the wings to do.

It's not a job I like to do a long session on and anyway we've had a succession of visitors (including dogs!) over Easter. Small children and dogs are generally not good for delicate models :)

Hell's bells, that's a lot of (very intricate) masking! I gotta a say Steve that's a really neat masking job. I think you work in the wrong trade - ever thought of taking up custom car paint jobs! Removing the tape is going to be fun and revealing this zebra-stripe finish when this model really will show it's character.

Looking forward to it!

It took me 2 days to mask the Stuka canopy in and out. This kind of puts my labours to shame!

All the best

Sprayed and mostly unmasked. There is a bit of touching up to be done but the photo flatters and it's not obvious!

I won't get much more done on this until I get back later this month.

Cheers

All's looking good Steve. I bet your glad that all that masking has worked so well. I can't see the areas that need touching up.

That's going to look great. Anyone coming into your house might cast an eye over the 109 or 190 sat there, but this will stop them and get them talking.

Very, very neat job Steve. The Zebra stripes look very nice.

Looking forward to seeing this unusual aircraft finished. I'm also intrigued as to what your next project is but I'll wait till that happens!

Back to this build, you wouldn't believe looking at what you've achieved what the original plastic looked like!

All the best

I'm calling this done.

I'm not entirely happy with it......who is, ever. I have posted a few snapshots, taken with my usual woeful lack of camera skills, in a 'completed' thread here.
