discussion Getting the full set?

One of my first builds when I got back into scale modelling was a cheap Airfix Tiger tank mk1.
Bodged it, but it was a "a learning experience" as they say....

Anyway the point is, it was a 1/72 scale.
Some time later I got a 1/144 scale Tiger so built that too.
I have just also bought, but not yet received, a 1/48 scale Tiger and also a 1/35 scale Tiger.
Is that the full set now? or do I need to get a 1/24 or larger one too?

First two were desert /sand, North African schemes, so these two new ones will be the same as I thought it might be an interesting comparison to see them all side by side.

Anyone else done this, eg: built several of the same models but in different scales?

As I'm playing around with cameras's now too, and playing with aperture priority, etc, I might try some sort of perspective shot once they are all built too, just for fun!

A model builder in the usa has built about 50 or 60 Peterbuilt trucks, oh, there are about 5 different model kits, of these Peterbuilts trucks.
He builds 'em straight outta the box, only changing some minor detail, like the headlights and then calls it a completly different model number Peterbuilt.

His name is tim albhorn, go check out google, if you want a laugh, eh.

Aren't there 1/16, 1/6 and 1/4 scale tanks? The last two are usually R/C made from mainly metal.

No, but you've given me an idea for the Spitfire GB.

I have a 1/48 on its way. I'm sure I could squeeze a 1/72 and 1/144 in the time frame

I think a 1/24 is a hard one to find, if it exists. A 1/16 can be had from several makers. With or without RC 1/8 too. Then you have the big boys, right up to 1/4 size...

You could always go for a 1:1 scale Peter. Henshel and Sohn do a very nice kit.

Yep, but reckon I'll stop at 1/35, due to lack of space and time, so many kits, not enough hours, Lol...

Just remembered Tamiya did a 1/25 version. Seen one advertised for £155!
