A mate of mine works in Bomb Disposal based in chester dale barracks, for some time now he has been saying he had a few things for me and the last time i saw him he was heading of to afganistan. I had heard he was back and to my suprise today when i went into work there a 1942 mills grenade and a 1943 rifle fired anti tank grenade, both deactivated and the anti tank grenade has a section cut out to see inside it. Not bad for free if i dont say so myself.

Ill get some better pics of them tomorrow if there is anty interest.

I just need to bring home my 2.5 ft tall 120mm spent casing of a type 23 frigate now (ive got a mate in the navy too lol)

Excellent stuff. Anyone who wants to know what the "Buff" colour of British WW2 ordnance was need look no further than that anti-tank grenade.

Cool. Now what ever you do don't leave them on the bus if you take them to show your mates!!!

Some more pics anyway.

That reminds me, I used to have six 50 cal. rounds somewhere. All where spent, but three of them had the projectile put back in.
