Here's my contribution to the Reconnaissance GB, a Tamiya (ex-Italeri) Sdkfz 234/2 Puma, only extra being an RB model metal barrel.
The obligatory box & sprue photos

Hi Graeme,

I find this a very interesting looking vehicle and not one I’ve seen built (?) I’ll defo grab a chair right at the front :smiling4:

Seat front and centre for this one Graeme. I have heard great things about this kit. Should go together well and I will look forward to seeing the camo work. Good luck

Si & Steve, thanks guys, good to have you along. Another day or so before I can start this one, so we will soon find out how it goes together.

Graeme,
Count me in for this one I have the Italeari offering I suppose these could kill two birds with one stone both the animal Group build and the reconnaissance GB.

Hey Graeme, just like Scottie I have the Italeri offering...could likely add it to the list for the animal antics GB. Count me in on this one.

Cheers,
Richard

Mick, Lee, Scottie, Jim, Richard, welcome along. The box has Italeri on it, even though Tamiya have added a couple of bits.
Progress so far is the suspension is built up, which is rather complicated and needed a fair bit of clean up with flash, mould mismatch. The wheels are assembled & cleaned up, which needed a bit of filler. The gun is built up with an RB turned metal barrel & a bit of work on the turret. A couple of photos, sorry they are a bit poor, but I was on holiday in my caravan at the time, I'll post some better ones later.

Hi Graeme,
Coming along nicely:thumb2:
A caravan holiday with a bit of modelling chucked in....now that is what I call a holiday
I had a weeks hols at my folks place in Spain last year with a cheeky bit of modelling....and beers

I hadn’t realised the kit was an Italeri rebox, will have to keep a look out for one:nerd:

Nice one Greame and a good start on it:thumb2:.
Will try to follow along, always loved this one the most of the German 8 wheeled A/C’s.

A bit more progress, the turret is done, no real issues with it, but the aerial does seem a bit thick. The hull has it's interior (such as it is) fitted & a bit of paint on, just the steering wheels & seats to fit before the hull can be closed.
