Very ordinary model as a USA Seaking in fact very boring.

But add FlightPath conversion with its 4 frets of PE plus numerous resin parts and it becomes a very complicated model which was the most enjoyable and satisfying model I have builts.

The sponsons rear rotor winch filter box staircase window frames plus every protrusion on the fuselage you can see is a Flightpath add on. Just awful instructions to sort out and for the authentic nut there are one or two errors : sorry, but a great effort on the fret detail just incredible

Added to this are two frets of PE and window masking from Eduard.  The decals from Ebay are by Model alliance. The livery Royal Navy Afghanistan.

Great job that, can I ask how much the conversion set was? I have a US Sea King which I might just convert...

super paint as well.

Hi Ian

The conversion set you can see here.

https://www.djparkins.com/home.php?cat=275They seem pricey but the number of items on each fret is "frightening".

The metal assume brass is much thicker than Eduard but most of the pieces are items and not just stick on pieces.

The steps consist of about 20 items for instance and are a model in themselves.7

As you can see David Parkin also produces the RAF conversion. That is on the shelf for when I am feeling brave again.

Stewart (but then you may have guessed)

Beautiful work Stewart. Nicely done cockpit interior too. The last pic with the vehicle is pretty cool.

Very nice. I need to build more helicopters, lots of lumps and bumps make them quite interesting.

Excellent looking seaking. The extra work stands out well. The bastards sets it up perfectly. Great work mate.

Cheers.

Hahaha, just realised that was meant to say base. Sorry all.

Yea, of course. Good thing only the tame stuff got through. Hahaha.

Looking very very nice Laurie, and welcome back.

But this means that I have to get on with the Illustrious build

Fantastic job, Laurie. The diorama setting is great and I love the modulation in the paint work. It's nice see your work on the forum again!
