I painted the Ray Lamb mounted Samurai when it was first released Bill - many moons ago now! Somebody paid £200 for it - that resulted in a mega hangover and the clearing of my mess bill! I recall now that it was 26 Armd Engr Sqn I was thinking of - good drinking buddies! That is superb Bill! Is it one of Ray Lamb's masterpieces? Was 23 in Hohne?

Thank you Tony.Hi bill welcome to the forum , fantastic samurai btw. Regarding the avatar , if you look at the tool bar at the top of the page , in between members> and the mail symbol is a small image of your avatar ( currently just a B in a green square) Click on this and a larger box comes up , the avatar on that has Edit on it , click on this and you can upload an image and create your custom avatar , hope this helps , cheers tony
Looking into it bill :thumb2:Thank you Tony.
The way you describe is what I was expecting, however clicking on the larger icon does not open any options,
Is this because I have not upgraded or because I use adblocker? I do get a permanent notice in the corner of the page asking me to upgrade.

when I open my account details it says your full account details are not currently editable.
It looks, from that, like changing your avatar is only possible for forum members who have the paid subscription. @john?Can I get rid of this notice?
Thank you Jakko, I did wonder if this was the case but didn't want to subscribe while having problems with the site.
It seems that the problems are caused by not being a subscriber. Can Admin confirm this?
