HI as the tile says anybody know what it is ? as ive never seen this before as it was stowin away in my tigers hanger bay

Handsome little beastie isn’t he :thumb2: He’s a sign of climate change Chris. They used to be confined to the South.
 
Ian is spot on. A Green Shield Bug. Totally harmless and I think rather beautiful.

OH SO its a veggie then only hope we dont get them big black insect that stung my leg an cause a lot of pain an swelled up my leg last yr

Thats a real stinker Chris and they ooze a yellow liquid when provoked. Use a tissue to transfer it onto a leaf.
There was an epidemic of swarms of these once many years ago and we were sweeping them up in loads. Since then haven't seen any.

COR Richard thanks for info on them little buggers an the reason you hav'nt seen any is because they are all over here in uk BUT if i see another now i'll be very carefull not to upset it an get rid of it an so its like a flyin skunk then ?
