Glad to here health is on the upward trend John.

Should watch out for that seat before sitting on it as your health is going to take a further upward trend. Nasty.

Your work station is not bad for tidyness. About midway between mine & Ole's. But then Ole is the Master Craftsmen in keeping things messy.

Think yours deserves a gold Ole.

How tidy you are Steve :-D

Nice stash John my missus wouldn't believe you'd have that many too do. Women just don't understand do they.

Way too embarrassed to share my really MESSY work station

I have a wonderful idea how I won't it to look. Just need some woodwork skills got the gear with no idea and new back and legs

Martin

SWMBO. Recon's I'd win hands down

But am so ashamed

Don't worry about it Martin. Everyone works how they can. I've gone from literally a tray on my knees to a computer table in the front room to my current work station. I consider myself VERY lucky to have been able to build it. It's taken me more than 20 years!

When all's said and done the main thing is to have fun doing what we do,however we go about it.

Mine's relatively tidy because I'm in the painting phase, hence the piccies :)

When I'm done with a project SWMBO will expect everything to be tidied away and as I'm hoping to live a bit longer it will be!

Cheers

Steve

It always amazes me when i look at this thread on just how little space you guys manage to work on. I need three times that space if im making a sandwich lol.

Well SWMBO has Orderedme to clean up my model room, so she has ordered me to clear it out, Get rid of bed (single divan with slidy doors going FREE hardley used as my little man's not allowed to visit me any more,You gotta collect it tho)

So thought i'd post a before and after picture to see what i can botch together, Plenty of room for spray booth and photo area.

Main work area in front of window for real light and my light magnifyer, paint booth on the left vented to outide and nice clean and tidy photo area.

Well i can see it in my head but the Meds might put an end to that.

oh forgot to mention gotta paint the room first ,Imagin Mr bean tin of paint and explosives.

My workstation is in the garage. We moved in 7 months ago and it's still full of stuff including a flat packed new kitchen.Cant get to my bench and models yet and haven't built anything since we moved in.Am hoping to start building again before christmas. My wife's going to have a large wish list of kits after all the work I've done on the house!.

kitchen first I think buddy plenty of browny points .

Plus pinch some worktop for a nice new work top for your model staition.

Martin

I've got three on the go and thought that this was chaos.

How wrong I was !

Steve

You don't want to have that bottle of Klear in the window Steve. You might as well have the crown jewels on display.

Flatpack kitchen, who long can that take, a long weekend, .... Get on with it man then you can have the old kitchen out in the garage, What a work bench!!

I've now finished the kitchen and got the 3metres of old work top with cupboards and draws set up in the garage.Ive also got about two and a half metres of new work top left over.So one side of the garage is going to have a very long bench!.Im doing the living room next so will be able to get the bloody three piece suite out of the garage!.Then I will have some room to work in.been collecting off cuts of wood from my DIY projects which will come in handy as I intend having a wood burner in the garage for the winter.Just have to make sure I do paint spraying well away from it!.
