At sixty three I'm right in the middle of our demographic, I could be biased but we grew up in a golden age of modelling where Airfix Revell etc etc produced dozens of new kits every year at a time when the art of injection molding was maturing nicely, magazines became a thing that expanded our knowledge of the hobby in a way that forums such as this does today! Practically every kid built kits at leat a few times!

Fair to say we are in a second golden era today, there's little that isn't available, and if it isn't it can be 3D printed! More manufacturers today with wider catalogues in kits accessories tools paints internet forums and social media channels dedicated to this brilliant hobby than ever before!

Currently 61 but have been suffering with a bad back this week so felt about 90 as I hauled myself out of bed this morning

Getting old isn’t great but it’s better than the alternative
