Heard this was a great forum to be a part of. My name’s Dan, and I live in the southwest US.
I started building models around ‘09 til ‘13 or so when real cars took over most of my free time/money. Unfortunately I lost all my kits and supplies in a house fire about 5 years ago and never really got back into the hobby until just recently.
A very mild winter snow wise and a smoked MCL have kept me off the mountain where I typically spend free time snowboarding during the long winters here.
My ole lady got me a kit for the holidays that sparked my interest again. Being away from the hobby for some time, it’s awesome to come back and see how far things have come in the last decade+. Obviously the influx of many 3d printers available at the consumer level have created a whole new hobby in its own right.
Looking forward to sharing some builds with ya’ll and gaining plenty of new friends and knowledge!
