What's happening in Leicester. Forgive my ignorance...haven't read the news and am in the Far east. If it's the lockdown then stay safe Gary.
Cheers,
Richard
HI Bob you have a lovely car now why are you buyin another ?May be buying a car from an alfa garage in leicester, bugger.
Well explained thanks,we are now in lockdown No3 until at least 24th july.best order another kit then. When everyone else gets a further easing on 4th July (though most people seem to have assumed we are already there, at least in Birmingham) poor old Leicester doesn't, due to a recent spike in infection rates. That should be put into perspective. It's 866 new cases over a two week period, in a city with a population of about half a million.
This hasn't been thought through. Responsible people will adhere to the guidance, but a substantial minority will not. If they need a service which has been kept closed in Leicester they will simply drive somewhere else to get it. That seems like a good way of spreading the virus to me.
The continued restrictions in Leicester are not enforceable, despite government bluster about 'new laws'. The city will not be behind barbed wire, nor will there be a police car on every road out of the city, checking vehicles. This is the UK, not the PRC!
Hopefully, most will agree to the continued inconvenience, but it torpedoes the 'we are all in it together' mentality so important to keeping the public on board.
