For the 1st time ever I now have a modelling base , I got this unit of ebay for £62 which is a dresser come computer table , some of you might think whats the big deal but to me its a table and area thats all mine , its small but its all mine , since I moved I`ve been modelling on the floor on the bed basically anywhere theirs any room , for my spraybooth I`ve got a folding camping table which will go behind my chair , happy days , added a photo how the dragon firefly is going ,

A very happy Richy , sorry guys this little setup means a lot to me.

Yep, these things make a world of difference, matching to, you must be proud. I went into Hobby Craft yesterday and found some small chain that will replace the ugly looking one i have put on the oil resevoir. To me that means a great deal to. Now all i have to do is sort this pilot issue out and ill be happy.

Nice one Richy! You have good cause to be chuffed. And what a nice piece it is too, fits in well with the rest of the furnishings.

Not sure I would have it in the bedroom though. My misses is very tolerant, but I think she would have some thing to say about that if it was me.

Cheers Andy , Ian I know what you mean about the bedroom mate but beggers can`t be choosers , just been through some tough times with having to sell my house , down sized big time hence why I model in my bedroom now , and its with my wife`s blessings , happy days

It does make a hell of a difference. I am still mainly building on my computer desk even though I have my little shed. It just seems easier to do the odd bit when I can without going outside. I still plan one day to have a proper workshop though.
