Here is my contribution to Allans Memorial GB.
It is a kit I have had in the stash for a while and I even have the appropriate paint colours! So ...

Moulds are quite sharp and clean, even if the plastic is a bit soft... Care when sanding will be required.

A couple of hours at the bench, After twice as long clearing and cleaning it that is, and the first parts are ready for some colour. The Engine is quite well presented, but 99% hidden when all is put together. so... the painting will be minimal for these parts. The cockpit has some OK decals for the IP and side panels, There is a pilot as well but that is about my pay grade. :-)
More tomorrow.

Just in case others are able to follow along...
Got a few more bits stuck together and a few holes drilled. I have a bit of sanding to do on three places, then its primer... :-)

Almost as many parts in the drop tank and holder as there is in the rest of the fuselage lol.

Coming along nicely. I'm enjoying seeing all these different but very similar aircrafts developing together.

Good start Ian 👍

Nice to see a Hasegawa kit entered into the fray, I like the markings 😊

Did a few bits here and there over the weekend and this morning.

I got the wing built up and the wheel bay fitted inside. Quite a tight fit that needed a "helping hand" along the way.
I also primed some parts that would need painting before they get put together, but Grey primer on Grey plastic... not photo worthy.

Today I got some RLM 66 black grey down in the cockpit and fuselage inner bits... I'll have a look at the IP decal but might end up gust dry brushing the IP's

I got the main UC glued up ready for primer and paint. Need to clean up the two part wheels first though. 🙄

Yes I also felt that the fit was a little "snug" but she went in ok.
