John, we had one of these in Germany when I was there. We also had two AEC wreckers.The Leyland Martain was another truck we had in Germany. The Scammel was a beast alright, pull a 434 tracked with out even knowing you were towing it.

I do actually have a soft spot for all the Scammel trucks and would love to get hold of the Tank Transporter!Thank you Ian :thumb2: yes it's a nice kit,recommend if you like this sort of thing.
All we need is for a manufacturer to bring out some British Heavy artillery for it to drag around.think there might be an artillery tractor parked next to it sometime in the future
