Has anyone built any of their kits? If so what were they like? I'm looking at their Bf109 kits at the moment.

hi allyne, ive heard great things about their 1/48 109's and spitfires, and have built a few of their russian selection (yak9t , yak 7)and have a few others in the stash,and can vouch for their quality. Ive always found them to be well fitting ,nicely detailed and reasonably priced, so id say go for it, hope this helps, cheers tony

Have to agree about the quality and fit. I completed the P-51D and it went together with no putty at all, just a little acrylic in some of the joints to seal.

As a bonus with some of the kits you get a set of ground crew to, they are well formed and lend a nice feel to the model.

I am looking at getting the Spit Mk9 from ICM next.They are about 60% the price of "name brands" here in SA.

Are the panel lines raised or etched on ICM. I to have been pondering their MkIX.

hi ian , the panel lines are etched,also i forgot to mention,the two yaks i built also had a basic engine and seperate cowling panels too,so if you wished you could have the engine exposed very useful for a dio, cheers tony

Hi Allyne iam afraid all i've built are their 1/48 figures but if they are anything to go by the kits i expect will be top notch.

I've seen a couple of their 1/48 figure sets and they're really very, very good. If their kits are the same quality then you can buy with confiodence.

See if you can get the 109 kit including the figures. I know here in SA I have seen one like that.It only costs the equivalent of 3 squidd more but well worth it.

Can vouch for the figures, good qulity and very reasonably priced, I echo what other members have said and I reckon the kits will be the same.

Figures are superb, only built one ICM aircraft which was the RAF Mustang. Tend not to have location pins on such as the two fuselage halves. While this may seem odd at first, it does actually make it easier to get a good join by using liquid cement and working your way around the join bit at a time. Quite often, the location pins force a bad fit so don't be put off by it.
