Hi, After an unscheduled stop over in the UK for the last 3.5 months, have just returned to France.
Firstly thanks to John for keeping an eye out.
I visited UK for my son's 45th birthday, was due back the 3rd March, accident the 28th February where the car was written off.
Broken right hand and severe bruising, sadly girlfriend came off worst, cut under the eye where the air bag hit her glasses, also severe
bruising to both her legs. I spent a couple of days in hospital as I had a clot on my lung.......
By the time I sourced a cheap run around, (£100) ..... LOCKDOWN........ Ferry cancelled... fortunately staying with my girlfriend.
I have just finished my 14 day quarantine period...
While in the UK I made the decision to return to the UK to live permanently , new partner , grandchildren growing up, so during my
quarantine I packed up all my unmade model kits........oh my....:smiling4::smiling4::smiling4::smiling4: , embarrassed, so .many, I have so far filled 30 large boxes and still there are more waiting to be packed...
I'll let you know how I get on.....
I have all my tools out, airbrush etc plus WIP..... so will try and get some finished....... :tears-of-joy::tears-of-joy::tears-of-joy:

My goodness I'm stunned you both came away from that at all and glad to hear you are well on the mend. Hope going fwd you get settled in and able to address that backlog.

Dorset lad myself and have regretted moving to Yeovil for the last 9 years... me thinks it's time to go back over the border :thinking:

I’m a Wiltshire Moonraker that moved to Somerset about ten months ago. So far I haven’t regretted it for a minute.... might have if I’d moved to Yeovil though :tongue-out3:

Yes will be in Ilchester, but taking the grandchildren on holiday for 5 days, but should be able to meet up. Living next to 2 pubs and a hotel over the road
