I contacted ICM HQ in Kiev by email and politely asked if they could supply the clear perspex sprue,E, for the Heinkel 111 so I could replace the one I had fitted on. It looks OK to be fair but I wanted another go at it as it could be better. Got an email reply in a hour saying they would send one for free. They said they would send the sprue C, so I had to correct them. They also suggested that Hannants are their UK distributor and they would provide the same level of service if I bought from them. Not being pushy by any means just pointing out how they could be more helpful in the UK in future. Of course SMS buys from Hannants and are cheaper as John knocks the 10% off and then member discount. But it was nice of them to at least state how I could get help in the future.

I was surprised and impressed by ICMs reaction and they have another loyal fan for their kits

Sounds like the kind of service some other companies (not necessarily model kit manufacturers) could take as an example.

Thats what I thought Jakko. They solved the problem first then explained what to do it future to get the same help. Not sure how big they are but it was the manageing director who dealt with me. Top class service and attitude. As I said, I will be buying a lot more of their kits in future. They deserve that at the very least as well as being well made model kits
