About 16 minutes in and you'll see what I'm on about ..
 
Neat but it's a pity he didn't look at his own reference photo before he glued the gusset plates in upside down! :rolling:

Lol.. Out with the acetylene torches … obviously not in your league Simon.:thumb2::thumb2:
 
If anyone was going to spot something out of place it would be you Simon! (But you don't do it in a nasty way!)

Nice build, with the state my hands are now it would be lucky if it had one rivet in place.

Not a chance. Got an invite to Waddington a few years ago to do a base tour and photograph all the Vulcans at that time still in service. As it will on those day it poured, Airfix had not long brought out their 1/72 scale kit, and this one guy was singing its praises. We happened to stop under the tail area, and on looking up this guy counted all of the rivets and then exclaimed that the builders of the Vulcan had it wrong and that Airfix had the correct amount of rivets on their kit ??? Do not know if it was the cold or...

Thanks for the link Brad. Despite the minor issues its a fantastic build.
 
This guy stole my model project. A lot bigger than mine and probably more accurate except for Simon's comments.

I won a best in show with this about 5 years ago. And I got my gusset plates right.
