Well as the missionary said to the witchdoctor, I'm half way there; its black.
Its also shiny so two out of three. It is also amazingly dimply. Orange peel dont come even near. Im thinking more surface of the moon.
Well I surrender. Short of a bottle of carlsons. (hobby paint remover, not whisky) I cant see it getting any better. Did I mention this is the second time I have painted it? :-/
The first time was with Vallejo mixed with gloss medium. Although it was black and sort or shinny, I must of been too far back as is was very rough in places. After a couple of hours with some 12000 grain rubbing and a vast amount of water it was level but, erm, not pretty! So after a day to dry out 110% I found some gloss black humbug and shot it with that. Some thing didnt like it and I got random blooming and graining.
So Im off to sulk for a while, then its decals, and a coat of clear cote. Glossy, just to make it really shine!
