Well as the missionary said to the witchdoctor, I'm half way there; its black.

Its also shiny so two out of three. It is also amazingly dimply. Orange peel dont come even near. Im thinking more surface of the moon.

Well I surrender. Short of a bottle of carlsons. (hobby paint remover, not whisky) I cant see it getting any better. Did I mention this is the second time I have painted it? :-/

The first time was with Vallejo mixed with gloss medium. Although it was black and sort or shinny, I must of been too far back as is was very rough in places. After a couple of hours with some 12000 grain rubbing and a vast amount of water it was level but, erm, not pretty! So after a day to dry out 110% I found some gloss black humbug and shot it with that. Some thing didnt like it and I got random blooming and graining.

So Im off to sulk for a while, then its decals, and a coat of clear cote. Glossy, just to make it really shine!

Well the tiger has got its stripes so to speak. Fortunatly most of those anoying stencil markers are black and cant be seen, so I think I will save my self a load of bother and forget them.....

So there are only about 30-something decals to put down now!

Ho hum, back to work.

Well the decals are down, dried, washed and dried. A (hopefully) nice coat of clear has been airbrushed on the top side and she is now parked under the dryer, erm, drying. Hopefully the underside will get a go tomorrow.

I must just add that the decals are a dream Cartograf no less!
