Apologies all you guys.

I didn't intend to hijack this thread - my pics were just to show I've made 2 variants.

It's a great little kit with loads of potential.

High everyone managed to get the BRG on don't worry Roy about the confusion it's nice to have a comparison and a standard to aim for I was going to give this spray job a full 24hrs before I get my grubby paws on it but should I apply lacquer before I handle it. Thanks for looking/advice and comments cheers John

If you want a mega-gloss, use 2K.

You'll have to wait about 2 weeks before you touch it though.

Looks lovely so far - almost the identical colour to my XF.

Roy.

Not my usual thing Tone but I have to admit I'm really enjoying this kit and I am already looking for another 1/32 airfix car of this standard as it been a pleasure to put together unlike the older previous car kits from airfix I've attempted so I highly recommend this one in particular

I would say avoid anything pre 2K then lol ('starter kit')

Some are better than other's, but their newer car stuff seems pretty good, if a little small (1/24 builder lol)

That's looking excellent John! The white is a great contrast to the BRG - the added mesh is a lovely touch!
