Jim R's 1/32 Airfix 1904 Darracq - Genevieve

It all started with a wee bag of plastic - Wow, what a transformation.
You guys never fail to amaze!!!

It’s always nice when you can see how poorly detailed the kit was by someone improving it to this extent :)

I vaguely remember buying a couple of the other kits by Airfix in this range. That was about 60 years ago and they were littered with flash even back then! You're doing a cracking job!

Just found this , so apologies for turning up late Jim.

Looks like you are having fun with the added detail, your getting like Paul Scott !!:thumb2::thumb2::thumb2::thumb2::thumb2:

Very nice work indeed.

'Tis done. A terrible kit, poor fit, poor or missing details but strangely fun to build. No decals are provided and the word Genevieve should appear along the bonnet sides. I made Genevieve decals but the yellow lettering just did not show against the black.

Thanks Jakko. A great subject for a GB.

That is looking seriously good. Very well done with all the improvements you made to it :)
