Surely the 1st of many GB gongs to add to your collection John!

Marvellous stuff, you'd never know the battle that you had from looking at the lovely finished build.

That must look very impressive on display :)

Great build. You've done a really good job with a pig of a kit.

Beautiful, simply beautiful. I have always had a soft spot for the Airfix 1/24th aircraft but is is so pleasing to see one completed to such a standard. They don't drop together like a Tamiya 1/32nd kit but, with a bit more of a struggle, they can still be made into a lovely model.

Stunning work John it show no sign of a fight but we all know what you had to go through to get it looking as good as this a well deserved great build gong

Didn't follow your build but I see it's a fight that you won

Roger

That looks brilliant John , you would never know that it was a pain in the bum (unless of course like us ,youve been watching the horror story that was the build log!! ) It must look mighty impressive in this size , the scheme is very tasty too - nice bit of colour. So whats next then ,the Airfix 1/24 Spit , or Mustang (both nearly as traumatic to build!):eek: ;) Great build , cheers tony

That is a gorgeous piece john, you seem to have tamed the savage beast and turned her into a lady, well done mate a battle well fought and won.

Scott

Looks good mate better than I could do and from the look of it you patience payed off, I would have crashed long before now :D

I'm not sure if I see this build John, anyhow its top quality mate and the scheme and paint finish are really good mate.

Well done

Thanks everyone for your nice comments much appreciated. Tony although it was a battle to get the 190 assembled in a kinda strange way I actually enjoyed the fight. So on that basis and to keep things in a similar vein I only went and acquired this last night. I must be mad but this one as no instructions! lol and it will need some tlc with the fairy power spray to get the pilot the cockpit spinner and engine back to factory conditions lol

But I also have by Airfix in 1/24 the Mustang Spitfire Hurricane and Typhoon waiting in the wings ready for a good scrap. So plenty of hair pulling nights ahead lol

That Focke Wulf is bloody awesome, a splendiferous rendition of what I can only presume to have been a right royal pain in the rear to have constructed. I hope you find yourself to be justly proud of your achievement, we are very pleased to see the final result of all your efforts.

It looks great. When we battle with a kit and it comes out that good, it's always a very satisfying result.
