Sadly Ken Tout author of the excellent series of books on his service in allied tank's has passed

Although like many I like German armour, Ken's superb books starting at D day and through to Germany are a real treat.

Rest in peace and thank you
 
Sad news indeed. His books are a must read for anyone wanting to understand the personal experience felt by allied armour crews during the Normandy campaign.
