Another model of Hasegawa ended in February. KI 44 in a 1/32 scale. Few pieces but well detailed. The fittings are perfect. Just a bit of sandpaper to remove the brands of glue. Safety belts from Eduard.

Here with the antenna wire set made with fishing line and has already painted.

that is an amazing paint job. one color and not boring at all. great job.

Yet another master piece António. You must have quite a collection by now.

Good to see a Jap in something other that green or grey.

I read the other day the the Japanese actually made pretty good paint for their aircraft. The problem was they made really bad primer!

Beautiful build António, really superb. Someone told me about a year ago when I got a kit of the Zero that they are always modelled in the green colour yet many were actually brown in colour. I never worked out what that colour is but I assume that this is it. What was the paint and colour you used?

Another cracker! You are a busy man. What did you use for the "Aotake" in the wheel wells etc?

Cheers

First, thank you for your comments.

As for paints only used Tamiya paints.

First painted with XF-53. After, a dry brush with X-11. Finally the Aotake, X-13 (3) + X-25 (1) with approximately 50% thinner.

I tried once (N1K1 Gekko) and I liked it.

Just like everyone else has said, I really like the finish - very nice.

Regards

Colin M.......
