Hi Guys

since i put sculpting on hold I have had time to work on a few models - here is the first, based on the Andrea models figure of King Arthur. i simplified the back of his seat - I think the original is too elaborate.

the figure is mounted on a layer of very, very finely sifted sand over which I have poured some clear resin to replicate the sea.
All that is left to do is sanding down the edges of the 'sea' where it rises up a bit.

That's great Peter. Really well painted and having his feet in the water is such a clever way of displaying him.

That's a lovely job! Such an original idea - which came first, seeing the model and thinking: "I can do Canute with that", or "where can I get a model of Canute?" Either way, it's turned out brilliantly - the look of weary resignation and the slumped posture are perfect.

Hi Guys

glad you loie it anc thanks for the kind comments.

Paul - it was seeing the figure that gave me the idea of painting is as Canute with clear resin for the sea.
