Interesting Dave. When I decided on the back drop I had thought the same as you. Must be all white coloured mountains desolate and a very barren place. So I had a look at country side pictures to confirm my thoughts. But I was wrong as some of Afghanistan is really very nice indeed. There are some places as I had thought but I do think the media tend to make the place look dreary to side with their bleak reports.\ said:
Also unfortunate that some of the fighting occurs in these very nice places. Not surprising as that is were communities tend to live.
