Now it might have been noticed by the keen eyed members there hasn't been a pictorial update recently. All is however not lost .
Work has been moving along , very tedious at times , measuring and cutting both timbers and foam board . It was pointless showing a mass of cut sections .
This afternoon I painted the board above the cafe / bar and the new entrance . At the same time I've been busy on Dormer windows and the roof . Next come the decision whether to have slates or lead as the main covering . More research is needed on the part , so hopefully there will be some photos tomorrow.

Just read that the main roofing material was Zinc sheet . Easy to cut and fit and waterproof ! Sounds good .Now will have to find some zinc paints or use grey !
Thank you .

It’s been awhile since I’ve checked in and have to say this is looking FANTASTIC Mr Race…keep the mojo coming..the woodwork is outstanding

Here it is, loads still to do but its moving in the right direction.
Started the car today, most impressed with the plastic type, all going ok, will have to do some painting before to long on the internals.

Here are the promised photos.

Not finished frames but gives a better idea when in place. The timber will need at least another 2 coats including some gentle sanding.

The shop name board still need to be cut out, paint work as the earlier one .

Just put the shell of the car to show where it will be, the Morris Column came from a good friend
Neil Merryweather and his 3 D printer.

on this last photos you might be able to see two plant pots on the internal window cill.
Finally the roof and dormers, took a long time, still work to be done with capping and timber or plastic card to the dormers themselves.

Thanks Graeme, looking at photos of Paris they seemed to be everywhere, so thought they would add to the plain walls .

The dormers came out great. Love the shutters. What, no shutter dogs?:smiling3:

Looking great - must be my eyes, or just that I'm on the phone, but can't see the flower pots on the inside , but daresay they are up to your usual high standard
