Scale Model Shop

Latest Acquisitions (2020)

Probably more luck than anything else. Neither of the two is really a model shop, and I got this kit with a good discount when one of them was selling off all its non-Revell stock last year.
It's down as discontinued on Italeri.com , might explain it being hard to come by.
It was something i was looking to make, an idea of making a diorama based on scenes from a clive cussler novel.

I just checked too, and indeed, both versions are OOP. I had expected the deluxe kit (like @The Smythe Meister and I both have) to be, but not the regular one. Odd, it seems like the kind of vehicle that would be popular to build for non-Italians too.

Got these 3 of mick for a very good 'special deal'

Two of which are now out of stock

Which I didnt realise at the time are all irish regiment units, so will go nice with my irish fusilier piper

I hope I don't embarrass him but I received this in the post quite unexpectedly from Mr Dewire, a lovely resin and multi media kit of the 10hp Tilly along with enough music to listen to for the next few weeks. A really generous gift I think you will agree.

many thanks again to Allen

No need to thank me Paul, I just want to see you stick all of your fingers together with CA building it. You'll be fine my friend!!! Actually, I need to make room in the stash (been selling on evilbay) for the 2 new kits I just ordered. These will be here this coming week,

I've wanted this kit since it came out and finally decided to get it before it is no longer available. Since I can't get a Hansa Brandenburg W.29 anymore (sold out in 2012), I decided to snag this before they are gone too,

I got both for € 276 to the door. NO, I'm not going wing thingy, but these are must haves. Now I just have to have a talk with Luciano Brach in Italy for the last item. These were purchased from all the money I have saved from the shows I go to that were cancelled this year.

I seriously thought about getting the WNW Gotha UWD for €199, but it is too big to display in my apartment,

It is a beauty though and the prices for WNW kits are still normal except on evilbay, where they are crazy stupid!!!!!!!!!!

Prost

Dude 1.---------------------------- Really ! sold how many on Evil bay, and then bought these. As for the Wingnuts they are a better investment than putting money into the bank :nerd:

Not a kit, but still neede glued together....
Another two paint hangers so I can get my VMC out if it's travel case and on the wall.

Neat looking piece Karl.Nothing better than having the paints organised.

Been looking for a few more for a while, turns out the site sponsor stocks them without stupid markups, I got my first ones direct from HobbyZone alongside a tool organiser.
All I need now is a suitable hanger for my oils.......

Postie just delivered this - another model ticked off my wishlist!

This lot came last week, the KV -2 will be converted into a KV -1 and 1/48 is the for the toons to add a bit more interest and the brass hammer is for when it all goes wrong.
Pete.
Hope you will blog the KV Pete. Think you only need that hammer for a punch tool ?

Nice SFH. It's almost too pretty to use. PaulE

Just a quick note of thanks to those in the shop for the swift delivery of this little consignment. Ordered on Friday and arrived this morning! Couldn't ask for better service.

Much needed new snips, a range of masking tapes and thought I'd give Mr. Surfacer 500 a go for filling little gaps.

I was considering trialling lacquers, but after getting high off this stuff after one use I think I'll stick to my VMA's!

I just couldn't help myself at the silly price of £8.95 on Amazonia- for 12 figures and all that extra kit.

I've got loads of conversion ideas for them, but they will have to wait their turn, until I've finished the OOB versions

Postie dropped off a shoal of tiddlers today :thumb2: .£21 plus free postage . The afternarket decal sheet ive got for the i-16s gives me plenty of choice for the markings and i should be able to cobble something together for the la5 and il2 . The Stuart is a tiny tank to start with and in this scale is very petite! Might do it as a british ‘Honey‘ in desert camo43149220-50DF-446F-A4D9-33C3B126A8AD.jpeg

Thought it was an ex-Matchbox one, but looking at scalemates the molds are Otaki from 1975.
Hope they were still fine and got you a decent kit, have fun Dave
