Latest Acquisitions (2020)

That 3.5 is evil Paul, gave me a head ache after 30 mins.
Reading that John, we're all different - I find the 2.0 ideal - the 3.5 is far too powerful - I can see the
red blood cells through me skin!! :flushed: :rolling: :face-with-head-bandage: or was that 'cos I misjudged whilst using the scalpel?
;)

Paul.
:smiling2:
Couldn`t agree more there Paul!
The 3.5 is a real beast....... I hope the day never arises where i need those babies!!:dizzy:
Cheers,
Andy

You won't regret buying those spec Alan, I use mine in conjunction with the bench magnifier, couldn't be with out it now. Tell me how you get on with the 3.5 lens, I find that a little too strong , my preferred lens is the 2.5.
Well said John!
I have the very same ones and they`re great........ Slide off a bit easily if i don`t use the headband mind!!:rolling:
Cheers,
Andy

I have one of these also..........can't imagine what it would be like to use it with the 5.0 power lens. Rick H.

Apart from a couple of sets of figures which are on their way, this is my last US purchase for a considerable time mefinks.....

Fancied a less popular Tank,so this is ideal, the Mortar is an added bonus!
The heads are for my Pershing Tank Crew and the others for some random Infantry chaps, after my recents skirmish with painting faces i now remember why i went down the Hornet route when doing German stuff!!
Andy

Decided to build something completely different for me.

:smiling2::smiling2::smiling2::nerd::nerd:

It is going to be different though, going to convert it to an ARV. DEF have a conversion kit, but having spoken to my technical advisor in the Fatherland he thinks I can make it using plastic sheet, instead of the resin one in the kit. The turret not being use , but the turret hatches from the Tamiya are, should be fun. This time std tracks cos there will be loads of mud !

That looks familiar for some reason John:thinking:

As a result of many, many bids on ebay, the result was delivered by postie a few minutes ago...........................

These are getting increasingly difficult to find, at the moment & in consequence the prices have gone up! I've been bidding on the 95th Rifles, the English Civil War Musketeer & Pikeman, but they've all gone for far more than I'm prepared to pay.............................

Delivered today, as I had a discount coupon from Jadlam I thought, why not?

You would almost think I had a thing for multi-axles and wheels.

Andy.

Just arrived, lightening fast delivery from John, again!!

Got it up and running in minutes, not noisy and filled tank very quickly. Nice quality.

Bob

Postie was good to me again today.......

After searching for ages, and a helpful tip from Scottie,I found this sheet of loveliness......absolutely LOADS of uniform decals crammed in here, these`ll last me rather a long time!!
Next,a blast from the past............and a very reasonable Ebay raid...........

The Tractor is probably as old as me!! But i`ve wanted to do one since i first saw them!
The Pershing is for a Dio which i want to set in Aachen or Remagen,(Undecided yet!),I wanted a US Tank but NOT a Sherman and this one fits the bill....... Looks a nice kit too!
Cheers,
Andy

I now have my new Sparmax TC-610H. Thanks John for your usual brilliant service. Sits nicely under the bench.

I seem to be on an ICM bender at the moment but these kits are quite a good standard with an inexpensive price tag. The stash is growing at a slightly higher rate than the output from the workbench but three finished models will transfer to the display cabinet later this week to even up the situation.

So it`s a huge THANK YOU to Mr Andy The Sheep:cool:!!!!!
Cheers mate,
Andy

Perhaps a bit cheeky putting this in here, but it is my latest acquisition.

Seriously needed as my other one is 3 days older than grass and a bit tatty.

Andy.

As I'm getting older my back couldn't sustain sitting in this anymore. So I've opted for an upgrade. My new chair even reclines and as a foot rest for those little afternoon snoozing sessions at the bench. IMG_1246.JPGIMG_1245.JPG
