...so the 'not adding to the stash' continues...



I've been after one of these for a while and immediately after Christmas they were going for silly money, however this one was a relatively reasonable price and I'm really pleased to have grabbed it.

After a conflab with the good Mr Race I've ordered a few sheets of foamboard to have a crack at some modest buildings. A couple of his preferred Kappa type that can be peeled & carved, and some cheaper stuff for general use.

Big sheets though! :surprised:

Two deliveries to day at the mail room at Race Towers.
I of course was in the bunker sanding Balsa, when Mrs R gave me these.


Tape, yes but double sided. Going to use this on the Shadow Box.


The lights for the Shadow Box, ordered, sent, delivered in 2 days ! Great service.

Ebay bargain at £9 delivered - after the U-boat & the Holland submarine - I wanted to try a modern sub - waterlined.
This model, being '3 in 1' has options - different upper hulls ( you need careful study to spot the differences ), and different sails ( conning tower ).


I can make a full hull model and a waterline model, I'd have to scratch a tail fin ( rudder ) and periscopes etc, but only simple parts - now that's what I call a bargain - 2 models for the price of one!!!
