'Ats because inches and centimeters don't "jive" Jakko........ if it was 4" X 6" that would equate to10.16 cm X 15.24 cm ;) just depends on who is doing the measuring. :thumb2: Rick H.

That’s why I linked to the page I did in my message above :) Required reading for whoever put the dimensions in the photo, I think …

Yes strange as it, is a change is going to happen, NO I'm not going suddenly become tidy . That is something that Mrs R has being praying for for years. .
Some know, but all will be revealed soon !

After my thread about keeping cylindrical shapes in shape one suggestion was a product from IPMS so I ordered one and another set for more complicated shapes (need to have a good look at them first) so here is number one. Looks like just what I needed to try. We shall see.

The trouble with not being able to do much in the way of modelling - only a little bit of painting - it gives me too much time to think up ideas and plans which invariably results with me buying something - and moving to a scale I don't often use, 1/72 scale.

This arrived today:

I am am impressed with the quality and the packaging - some spues have padding inside the plastic bags - first timd I've seen that:

The idea is to have the tank crew working on the tank, and some soldiers walking past. For this I needed some figures and found a company called in the Netherlands called MBM models which has a great range of 1/72 figures - these also arrived today:

Really great quality, a real mixture of interesting poses so i bought a few more than I need! Including these ...

... Polish cavalry. The idea is to have them charging a PzII, I remember seeing something similar in 1/35 many years ago.

i think I'm going to have fun painting these.

the only problem is that the arrived today - my wife's birthday, and I got more post than she did!

Nice haul Peter.....do you have a web address for that Dutch figure co?.....just wondering if they might have something available in 1-87 scale. ;) Rick H.

Not a company I’ve heard of either. They look excellent Peter.

Thanks for the link Peter....just found out they are exclusively 1/72 scale....might be helpful to others working in that scale. :thumb2: Rick H.

He used to sell military models for both modellers and wargamers in several scales, mostly British brands, and also organised a wargaming convention in Vlissingen a couple of times in the late 90s. I mostly saw him at an annual model show, but when he stopped attending that I eventually figured he had gotten out of the business. Good to see he hasn’t, really :)

Hi Mick
I bought one of those IPMS seam tools at a show. I don't use it a lot but when I do it works a treat. It really helps in situations which would be very difficult done with anything else.
