Excitement here at the Towers,

I've got two of their sets.... One heavy duty pair and a finer one like this and love them.
I tried to log in to the shop Andrew , to buy the one Bob the Stug reviewed, but said my pass word was wrong ! Never changed it , so went to EBay

They are great, I’ve been using my heavy duty pair (originally marketed as flush cutters for model railway track) for at least twenty years and they are still sharp. Must admit I got some DSPAIE cutters after Bob’s review, and they are a completely different animal. Almost no cut burr. I use the Xuron’s to clip the part from the frames then the others for the final cuts. Saves a lot of time on clean up.

I keep looking at the Dspaie ones....maybe one day...

Picked this up the other day, definatley the newest tool in my stash. I have only built ww2 aircraft since revisiting the hobby but I'm an 80s boy and I loved the F14 built one (badly in the 80s). Have been on the lookout for one, really fancied the Tamiya but this AMK offering was a good price, would be interested to see if anyone has built it?20220616_130329.jpg20220616_130312.jpg

You are as bad as Christine, she's up at some ungodly hr , think its any where from 5 to 6am.Mind you i'm up till gone 0100.

Today saw the arrival of the Citroen.
Can't think I can leave it in German type colours, needs to a gloss but worn finish. Any ideas for the colour appreciated:thumb2:
Not a bad price at £19 delivered.
Sat in the shade again out side and painted yet another coat of paint on the stone surrounds to the windows and cills.

This should give you all the variations.

Most popular civilian colors for this model were supposedly black, grey, & blue in that order.
