Nice haul Pete, was it as good as usual. Couldn't make this year as had Christine's Birthday Lunch .My haul from St Ives today:
The AMPS magazine was free, as was the Sabre Squadron book.

I took a break from the diorama and threw it together this afternoon actually. It's even in primer! They could certainly teach some kit manufacturers a thing or two about sharp moulding, engineering and fit.She is indeed Andy......not that I have much of a choice!:smiling5:
I used to do Warhammer in my youth, when it was purely fantasy....I have no idea what the Age of Sigmar genre is....and I have no idea what that is and where the machine ends and the human begins.....assuming there is a human in there somewhere......quirky is one word word to describe it.:surprised:
Will be interested to see what it looks like when you get around to it.

Forget the kits and add ons - show us what you made from the Toblerone.....Good morning all!
So as most of you will know, today is Father's Day here in the UK and below is what I woke up to!
Although she is still at school, Junioress has a very good part time job and so she gave me a very generous budget for this year, along with some help from Junior.
Whilst some of it is run of the mill, I used most of her generosity to treat myself to things I could not ordinarily justify - two examples being the Churchill tracks and the box in front of the Zero, which is a long out of production (and not cheap) resin upgrade set for my 1/72 Halifax bomber.
I also used it as an opportunity to get some of AK's 3rd Gen paints, which I have heard great things about. I have to stick to water based paints as my set up is in the kitchen, ruling out lacquers!![]()
All in all I'm very pleased with haul...........not least the giant bar of Toblerone!![]()

Oh and wasn't it nicely presented too!

You are lucky, nothing for me.... :loudly-crying:You are one lucky man Andrew, this year I received one card and one text from the daughters. Treated myself yesterday.:crying:
See what happens John when we let him out on his own.....My haul from St Ives today:

Too late.... Half of its already gone!Forget the kits and add ons - show us what you made from the Toblerone.....
It was a lot quieter than last time John. I overheard a couple of traders complaining and saying they won't bother coming again. Didn't meet anyone I know, although I thought I saw Andrew but he denied being him, and I saw someone I thought was Pete Low but I was upstairs and he was down - couldn't find him later.Nice haul Pete, was it as good as usual. Couldn't make this year as had Christine's Birthday Lunch .
Well I certainly don't want to see what you made from that half!Too late.... Half of its already gone!
So I need to ask where you them from..???Not usually an EBay buyer, but fancied a couple of jets…..got these for about the retail price of the Mig on its own……delivery in two days as well. Pretty impressed.
I've been looking at the bits, and puzzling about which way to display it!Thanks for the heads up Dave. Just bought the USS Pegasus kit.
Now that wake will be a challenge, won't it?!
Just be creative and I’m sure it’ll come to you……So I need to ask where you them from..???:smiling5:
