Don't belive in bandying brand names about so its not a softer and bad back or a notawhata ,did all the research went with a .3needle as ive a posh .2 (procon boy) this one apparently spits paint to the same spec as both of their 2 and 3 needle sizes, I have a .3needle sparmax wich is by all accounts iwata assoceated wich is a excellent tool but only really use it for primer and varnish so as the procon is getting on for eight years old (not that there's anything wrong still as good as new)thought I'd treat myself boxing clever told her how old the other one was of course knowing that she'd just think oh dear you'd best get yourself a new one wich of course she did bless ,im sure ill get along fine with it as many point out its not the golf club its the man behind it so only one person to blame. Dave
If I feel its worthy or not all its cracked up to be I will put a review up

I ordered this on Thursday at 12:20 & it was in my hands at 10:20 on Friday

My first Stug in many, many years. Thanks to ' Models For Sale ' for a very fast service ( OK, Royal Mail did their bit as well ) & good value as well!

In just a little over a week from China my trumpeter titanic decking has arrived so you know whats my next build will be. IMG_20240304_133545_edit_18043420904017.jpg

Another first for me in the shape of a post war British tank. Never built an AFV club kit either.

An exterior detail kit for my wessex hu5 and a feathered prop kit from wells props models for the fairy gannet, probably could do it without but it wasnt expensive .1000002909.jpg

Okay, technically this was a Christmas present, but what the heck
IMG_2784.JPGIMG_2785.JPG
I'd like to stress, this is NOT the OLD MPC/Airfix kit, but as much newer beast. truth be told, I don't know when or if this will get done

This just arrived today. I first saw a listing for this about six months ago, and everywhere pre-orders were sold out, but then I found a specialist site in the UK who had one at a sensible (standard) price
The Thunderjaw from the 'robot dinosaurs' game series, Horizon
IMG_2786.JPGIMG_2787.JPG
It should build about 30+ cm long, which makes it about 28mm scale -ish. So, time for an Aloy figure scratchbuild
Honestly, this just makes me want to drop everything else and just build it. Rumours are already that if this sells well, other Horizon beasts may be in the cauldron...

Just picked up another three kits in the last two days. Here are images of my stash also apologies for the bad image, the camera is crap.

I'm open to suggestions of which of these to work on next! (apart from the Omnibus (red box) the wife wants that when it's done and I said I won't attempt it until I can make a reasonable job of it.) So all the others are fair game!

..........and in a sale
revell gkadiator.jpg
This is a reboxing of the ICM model, the same plastic, but different decals. This came in at £24.99 delivered :thumb2: I've noticed that the Revell reboxings often show up at good prices - the same retailer is offering the Revell 1/32 Tiger Moth ( again ex ICM ) at £19.95, but I don't fancy that..............

Oh c'mon Buddy, crack the box open and show us what's inside.......Please!!!....Then you can put it back in the stash and return to being a good boy...

Now I have been a good boy so far this year, even between being sick and such, but I got a deal off evilbay on a small kit I kinda always wanted. I could have bought it from Michael at the SMC last October, but when I went back to get it, it was gone,

OK chaps, I did a Hughie Green, ( for our American friends who live in the EU) he hosted a TV prog called "Double your money". Which means I opened the box. There are three Tiger1 kits and I have just had a power cut, "which is nice", anyway. 1 late production 2.1, standard or command. 1 mid production c/w 1/35th scale Otto Carius figure + a 1/16th scale plastic full size Otto Carius figure. 1 mid production standard. Plastic feels excellent all kits have moulded Zimmerit which looks really well done, not uniform a bit wonky in places and also some being chipped. Link and length tracks C/W a building jig for sag. Unfortunately tracks have solid guide horns like so many kits and they separate so need to be glued. The one I opened also had some stowage, a nice touch.

Good evening all

So firstly apologies for not being around much since Christmas, work has been very busy/difficult/downright stressful since the start of the year and has left me with little energy after work or at weekends, the mojo though has started to return, leading to my first purchase in eight weeks, swiftly followed by two more! Shocking I know!

All of these were of course absolutely necessary......as you will see......

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So first up this.....ones stash should of course contain a Boulton Paul Defiant, simply because it really is such a bonkers plane. Picked this up on eBay....not the absolute recent 'best price' but cheaper than most go for and almost 20% cheaper than the cheapest new delivered!

Next up this.....I was practically forced into buying these by a national chain of hobby stores (Hobbycraft for our UK members) when they offered £5 off any purchase over £15 when using their app.....the tape was needed to take it over the £15 limit and will come in handy. So in effect, the kit only cost £9.50 instead of £12.00.

And finally this......a real departure for me......as a rule I'm not a jet fan and the more modern they get, the less I like them.....sorry guys but they just don't have much/any character to my eye....a bit like modern locos compared to the good old steam engine.

However, I have always had a soft spot for the F-4 Phantom for some reason. My research revealed that Fine Molds were the best Phantoms out there.....my research also revealed that they are not cheap and ones with US markers seemed to be cost more than the Japanese marked ones.

I was not going to spend stupid money and so I spent over 2 months waiting until I saw this one come up. The seller actually dropped their price twice and so in the end I managed to pick this up for 10% cheaper than the cheapest out there. I was also pleased to see that it actually comes with two good looking crew.
