I never realised Stan Catchpole and the great illustrator Brian Fosten (The thin red line, by Bryan and his brother Don, is one of the great British uniform references) were one and the same…….cheers for that Jakko :thumb2:
On another forum recently, there was talk about this book (well, the UK edition) so I went looking for it, and found a copy for sale in the Netherlands, which I bought right away. This is the American edition published by Squadron/Signal, but oddly, in A4 size — I guess to avoid having to reduce it in size to fit American paper.
(For those who’ve never heard of it, this is a compilation of articles on basic and more advanced modelling techniques published in Military Modelling magazine in the 1980s, written by Bryan Fosten under the pseudonym Stan Catchpol.)
