A visit to my "local" hobby shop (20 miles away) resulted in a long desired Lancaster and a Renault R5 Alpine rally car for the Racing Car GB later this year.

Hurrah!! Post managed to deliver my item a couple of days late. Royal Mail - what a waste of time!!
Anyway, my latest acquisition. A big thank you to me for buying it for me. Hopefully it will free up a hand when fitting fiddly bits where a third hand would be favourable!!!

Have fun with it Doug. It sorta looks like some new-fangled torture device to me!!!

Latest 2 arrivals at Stash House.

The Mark II Grande was called a Toyota Cressida in RSA. We had 4 of them in the family, motoring equivalent of a kitchen appliance - unexciting but just does the job forever. Our 4 did a combined total of approx. 750000 miles with no major problems. Kit came from Japan in 15 days in perfect condition for £30.00 including air freight, hard to find in UK/Europe.

The Porsche was the first privately owned vehicle I bought when I returned to the UK. The kit is quite unusual as it depicts the pre face-lift front bumper but has the later rims and dashboard. My car is the blue one in the photo.

Shame we're not allowed real ones
Real ones with the bb magazine capacity, M4 300, MAC10 400... yes please, the idiots in my street wouldn't know what hit them! :tears-of-joy::tears-of-joy:

Saw these on e-bay and thought id give them a go . 7682648F-0174-451F-B643-76DCC9A3CF16.jpeg
theyre 1/72 scale , 3D printed . The seller also offers them in various other scales right up to 1/24. These cost me £8.49 inc postage . Each figure comes in a printed protective cage , they just need careful cutting off the supports . The detail is amazing for the scale , im chuffed to bits with them. Ive got a 1/72 Spitfire in the stash so im hoping to do a little vignette with them sometime 6B52F7AB-92B8-4BC9-B705-F0AA69F7404C.jpeg056D3BA3-0636-4EE9-B7B7-06A00BA06D28.jpeg3DF7BDEC-29CA-404F-9304-6E985B376846.jpeg

I’m not really up to speed on all the modern AR-15 variants, but isn’t that a full-length barrel, making it an M16 instead of an M4?

We’re not even allowed airsoft ones here in the Netherlands, except by being a member of the one officially recognised airsoft players’ society and using it in their events only.

Those are really rather special, and shows what can be done with 3d prints. Interesting with the cage build, rather than simply use the usual printing frame. Extra protection for posting is a good though there

It has a suppressor fitted making it look longer, once removed its a M4.

I would like to venture out to different places and venues trying new things but it can get expensive... but who knows?!

Lee is that MAC10 the same type in. Pulp Fiction ? Much as I hated to see John. Travolta die, I still found it utterly hilarious

Tony

They're brilliant. Always looking for decent pilot figures. Could you PM the link.

I meant the barrel length without the suppresser :) But since, on the real thing, the markings are stamped on the lower receiver while the barrel is part of the upper, it would be trivial to make a weapon with a long barrel, so effectively an M16, but marked “M4”.

A few paint mixing pots with a lip to make pouring into my airbrush a tad easier. All for making things easier!!
