A delivery from the Easter Bunny (Well, a good mate of mine)
A few days ago I happened to mention to him about using foam board in my model making.

"Oh, right" He replied, somewhat dismissively..

Today he turned up with these.....It turned out he knew someone who made advertising and display stuff.

"He owed me a favour" said my mate, with a wink.

Here is the haul. Around a dozen off-cut boards. Each one is approx. 4ft. X 18" All are 5 mm thick. I've tried a bit of one and the engraving/ carving capabilities are first class. Top quality boards.

Should keep this old fa** going for a while......

Cheers.

These days the sunny pick up is a bit of a cult collectors car.....especially in europe where we never had it officially

It was a great series of vehicles, had a 1200 GX 4 door ( Twin carbs which were a copy of SUs). The engine was a direct crib of the BMC A series engine but no oil leaks. The engine was later bored out to 1400cc and continued in production as a pick up until the 2000s.

Soooooo, as mentioned elsewhere in the forum I discovered 'Girls und Panzer' recently, (or 'GuP as the cool kids are calling it) in the last week or so I've binge watched the initial series the film the OVA's the specials and the 'finale' set thus far, it's kind of compelling viewing with brilliant amination well written and authentic plot (although the whole concept is a bit daft and much artistic licence is taken) sub plots and intriguing character development leading to me being invested at an emotional level, (yes, I know, they're anime characters) I find myself hoping for a positive outcome for the girls of Oorai Academy! After a late night session this happened . . .

I’ve been after one of these for a while but not been able to find one at a reasonable price until now 🥳

Geoff.

Just bought these DSPIAE Tweezers, mine from a three for a fiver Revell set were getting a bit past their best set.
Look and feel very good, points meet accurately, maybe the tips can be replaced, not sure though.
Might well get the flat and angled versions having seen and tried these ones first
