Ok chaps, so acquisitions from today's show at the De Havilland Museum. Pics from the show to follow in due course.

As you can see, absolutely vital acquisitions.......

ACW as usual.

Got the book as I'm doing the Tempest. I like this series - at least the ones I have - enough for a good solid taster without going overboard. And I noticed on Friday that I was running out of flow improver

A bit of a departure for me but I like Modelcollect, it is something a bit different and it was only £10...not many online but £15 looks about the normal price.

Been thinking about getting one of these for the past week or so and have even been stalking one online in an eBay auction this week. These are normally in low-£20s new but picked this up for £15, which is only a fraction off the lowest eBay auction price.

Been wanting to do another bike for ages......think i might keep this for the paint it black gb

The chi ha was just cos it was so cheap.....one ive never done even tho its an old kit.....from mid 70s.......back when i was a kid it just didnt appeal to me

OK chaps, so the below arrived at my house on Friday......

As you will see below it contained eight of the Warpaint series of books on planes. I have all of these planes in the stash and I like to know a bit about the planes I am building. I like them as they’re a nice intro to a topic without going overboard and have lots of good reference shots.

I found someone selling them second hand on Fleabay but to be honest six look like they’re brand new and even where there is some wear on the other two, it’s minimal in one case and perfectly acceptable in the other.

The brand new prices vary on the ones I got from £13.50 to £18.50 for the larger volumes, with the total coming in at £116 for all eight.

However, thanks to a multi-buy discount by the seller I got 20% off his already reasonable prices…..so they only cost me £73…..not so shabby I think you would agree!!! 🤫

Bought another Airbrush and Compressor, both used and just in need of tidying up a bit
Time for a sale I reckon, I've now got three iwata compressors and the same number of Eclipse Airbrushes.
Enjoy checking them over and cleaning them up, but that's it for now, honest it is.

I had to explain to missus Miko how I 'accidentally' fell on to the 'buy it now' button a few times!

Very nice, a bit posh too, I have to settle for a Chinese copy from Fengda

Not wanting to appear like I'm a bit obsessed with it! But dare I venture building the Type 97 from Chi-Ha-Tan Academy in Girls und Panzer!

As a kit, they are cheap aren't they? I might have to accidentally add one to the stash myself! Ha!

That Hawker P1127 will give you lots to think about, it's quite a challenging build to get it to look and fit right

Nice find! The mkII Jag is a work of art on four wheels, a lasting memory of them for me is they were used by the villains in the 70's TV series 'The Sweeny'

da der duurr, da der duuur, da da dada daaa da da da daaaar! Ha!

I'm quite interested in the little Tamiya jars, where can I find those?
