Something a little bit different but i cant wait to read it

Long story i wont bore you all with but i know the author....... Spent all his life on the railways mostly as a crash investigator and recovery bod....... When he retired he had loads of photos from over the years, thought he would write a book but no publiisher was interested so he did it himself..... Already made back what it cost him

I have a passing interest in local railways and this has lots of pics of local places

These arrived today.

The Revell 1/150 Vasa which has joined the Airfix 1/144 Vasa in my stash:

A heavy and expensive book on the Vasa, complete with DVD, Vasa Museum ticket and some facsimiles of documents:

A page from Inside the book:

I have always wanted to visit Vasa ever since Airfix produced their 1/144 model in 1972. Finally, next month I should fulfil my ambition as I am flying to Stockholm for a week to visit the Vasa Museum and another 20-odd attractions. I hope to get lots of reference material for a future Vasa build (Revell or Airfix or both). Both kits have inaccuracies which should benefit from my visit.
