if you can't obtain a static charging stranger (or yours malfunctions John) then a normal metal strainer with taped handle will do if you comb your hair with a plastic comb and touch the strainer as you apply the static grass. (those who are sparse of hair might have an issue with this method .... sorry :) :) )
No problem with the hair, but does this work with tea bags?

have not tied but i beleive you can blow up a balloon and give it a rub on your hair, this will make static grass stand up as well when your hover the balloon over it

You have to be careful here ... tea bags infuse better laying flat so if they're standing upright your tea is of a poorer quality.

:) :) :) :) :)

Andrew ... if the grass is flat against a glued surface then it's almost impossible to get it to stand up, what the static tea-strainer device does is statically charge the fibre grass so it repels other fibres and ends up pointing perpedicular as it falls to the surface..... it's all to with that science stuff.

From that photo, you're also going to have to source a 1/32nd bike as well!

Good set of stuff!

Bought something today (nothing new there then i hear you say).

Bought the FW190 super-detailing book :)

Just goy myself my first ever air brush, and assorted gubbins to go with it. Once I've mastered the beastie I'll use it to paint my new Hobbyboss MiG 15Bis fagot.

Well done Allyne, just hope the 'FlightPath' set you have is better than the one I bought for my EE Lightning.
