My last trip to MZ Merryhill today and they had 20% of all items and 50% of a few I asked the shop assistant if he knew the closing date and he said he had no idea . There wasn't a lot left to choose from but I came away with these as I always find figures useful in many ways
Did you notice all the Tamiya sprays had gone, some guy who owns a shop went in and bought the lot !!!!

I've got my eye on the ships hoping they go to 50% off, feel kinda bad hoping they do knowing the shop will be closing.

Are gonna do Faith, Hope, or Charity. One of my fave R.A.F. Stories. I double dog dare ya to instal that ejection seat into it.

Ade all the Tamilya paints had gone and I feel that possibly on the day of closing you wish may come true and you should get a ship at a further reduced price but its knowing the actual last day of trading and I asked yesterday and nobody knew the answer

I have been out shopping in the last 3weeks, and these are what i have..

happened to pass my local MZ today so called in to see if there was any closing down sale bargains

bit disappointed really......shelves were stocked pretty full of stuff but not much took my fancy, specially since they were only knocking 20% of the price of kits.....guess the big price slashes will come as soon as they know when the stores will be closing.

did have a chat with the guys in there......there 'might' be a 'possibility' that the warehouse could send a delivery at the end of the week ready for a sale, 'maybe', but they wouldnt know what they are going to get until it arrived

but paint and stuff had 50% knocked off so stocked up on a few paints and weathering powder

did get these tho.............i dont really do large aircraft simply cos i dont have the room to display them, and ive already got plenty of big stuff in the stash but i couldnt turn down the last Cranberry on the shelf for £4.70, could i? lol

Back from the wilderness (almost a year now) haven't built a single model.......but while wandering around The Works, succumbed to my plastic addiction again, damn it, so close: anyways I got the Revell 1/32 BAe Hawk (Red Arrows) for £9.99.

Ian M

Don't know if you watch it Ian but they did a great restoration of a dino on wheeler dealers a while back with Edd doing all the work as usual

Revell He162 'salamanda'

I picked this one up from my local toy shop for £15 which is a fair price as far as I can see having looked around the net. The details not bad considering this moulding dates back to 2004 so should be an interesting build.

1/32 Hasegawa Fw190 F8. Been after one for ages and was at the upper end of my price limit but sod it. I bought it - evilbay

recently i did a Typhoon in 1/144, enjoyed it so ive bought a few more

the Revell Hurricane and Me262 were £1.99 each, the Academy Tornado was £2.99

so thats 3 kits for £6.97! bargain! lol

the interesting thing about the Tonka is although the box art shows a camoed plane the paint callouts and the decals are 'Mig Eater'
