Arrived this morning for the future Movie Cars Build.

Being an ex 'Hot Rodder' I will be chopping & channeling to make Milner's '32' 5 window coupe.

I'm amazed at just how many parts are in this kit. (for a car)

I could have got the actual kit for this, but it wouldn't be as much fun;) ;) ;)

Also looking for Falfa's '55' Chevy, but all the ones seen so far have been too pricey.

For those not conversant with the cars, the film is 'American Graffiti' the jumping off board for many (now) famous actors/actresses.

just opened the box of Christine and i have to say very very disappointed, firstly we all know that the plymouth fury in Christine was actually a Belvedere but Since this is supposed to be the Plymouth Fury from the film I didn't expect to find the Belvedere name embossed on the side, and the flash in the kit is terrible i have bought airfix kits of a quarter the price and better quality. there iv'e had my moan i will just have to hope the others are not as bad, lots of work to do on this kit.

Just bought this today, I was going to wait until I had finished the HMS Warspite, but I saw it and it said "Buy me". Who am I to refuse a plea like that!View attachment 79314

I also order the Hunter wooden deck, the Flyhawk upgrade kit, a compressor and a photo etch bending tool which arrived today.
Very nice Graham I'm looking forward to seeing this one on the go

Hi Monica she has got a good heart, plus she also got to get herself a few pairs of new shoes, clothes etc, so there is no madness in her actions, everything is well thought out;)

Got to get the 2 Shermans finished, then the dio`s and then I`m thinking of one or two of the Ruskie kits next ;)

im very jealous of the Bofors and the einheitsdeisel.............what brand is that?....cant see the box name for the flash

Thanks Batcode, I was lucky enough to pick up a good few bargains off evil bay ;) and a few bargains of model forums, just added another last night, it`s one I`ve been after for a very long time and managed to pick it up off evil bay again, it`s the Italeri soviet 120mm mortar and crew, an oldie but an unusual kit:)

Nice one Tommy. I bet they where still not as dear as the shoes and togs for the lady.
