I got this in the free shipping/10% off at Eduard - It looks great inside but no rushing this one. Just finishing a Tamiya Spitfire, got their Me 109, but this may need to wait until I get my hand in - actually, maybe until I get an airbrush.

If anything, it looks more complex than the Phantom - that was a treat earlier this year but got a stash to get through before I get to these.

The Eduard kits I have seen are great but oh what a lot of p.e. - my pet hate.... I bet they build up well though.

Has anyone else seen the 1/18 yes 1/18 scale Harriet that is on the way. Feb 2015 I have read being the best guess at a release date...

Pickies here; http://www.fighting118th.com/2014/07/29/sdcc-2014-merit-international-118-av-8b-harrier-sizematters/

I've always wanted to build one since I was a kid but it was out of my price range , me and my eldest were watching X-Men first class last week some time and there is one of these in it , my wife must have overheard me telling my son about it and saying I wanted one years ago , she said wasn't that much so she bought it me :)

I saw the real thing in the Smithsonian and it looked so futuristic there, hard to believe it was built in the 60's. It really is impressive up close. I may have a photo on my hard drive I can upload if I can find it.

[edit] 3 - not the best I'm afraid. Have to say, anyone is ever in Washington DC area, the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum is a great place to waste a lot of hours, it's in Chantilly outside of DC.

Thought i would make a change & get a tank, never seen this make before (MENG) so i thought i would give it a go.

First thing i noticed was the box is very heavy, on opening the box i could see why, lot's of plastic.

Nice haul

Looks like Dr Who is already taking the phone booth Tommy

Nice one Ian, that phone booth is a lovely kit, the telephone is really smart bit of kit on it`s own, might put it on the railway station dio;)
