So my next fill in between some where producing the full Herrick Afghanistan set.

The Stranraer. an early Supermarine/Mitchell effort.

You can see from this aircraft where Mitchell got the idea for a Spitfire. Oh yes some distinct clues here.

For those who wish statistics there are only just 42 bits of rigging

A big brother for Walrus. Another Mitchell epic an aircraft even closer to the Spitfire having only one engine. Mitchell was closing in at this point on the verge of the Spit.. You can see the strategy Mitchell just removes the top wing problem solved.

Getting a little bit miffed with drop box! The pictures I turn around and resave, still come up the wrong way!!!

Ooh, jealous of that Matador! You pay full whack for this? Seems a hell of a lot of conga for a truck kit, but I am going to have one soon!

I built the Stranraer about 20 years ago in its original Matchbox issue.I remember it as a nice kit.And I rigged it with fine wire stripped from electrical cable.

New additions to the Richy household :- Trumpeters 1/350 WW2 Liberty ship , Eduards PE for the ship , L`Arsenal 1/350 various trucks tanks jeeps + decals etc etc for the cargo ( L`Arsenal based in France,nice guy to deal with great service , superb for 1/350 diorama add on bits - have a look ) , AK interactive washes , and finally 1/12 Tamiya Ducati desmosedici with tobacco decals .
