Acquired these today was only idly browsing and couldn't resist especially the predator figure as it was going cheap in my opinion £16 and having already seen what a great job Monica made of it I just had to have it I hope I can do it the same justice Monica did it stands 300mm -330mm so it should stand out well on a shelf when completed.Ive already gone through Monica's build thread for help and inspiration so if your listening Monica sorry for copying you but it was something that I couldn't pass on don't know when it will make it to the bench but at least it will be in my stash ready for attention when the mood suits I'm not sure it's exactly the same as Monica's but it will do for me. :) View attachment 102032

Those JB vehicles are great fun. As for the 1/44 Revell jobs, wow, you're going to need a magnifying glass.
 
Just to share a real big time blunder ....


I believe the "kid" in us still exist ... I guess I was overly excited about my trip to Hong Kong, until I mistakenly thought that I am going in March. The actual fact is the trip is supposed to be in April.


I quickly made some online orders, and even asked my wifey colleague to be prepared to receive the kits next week. I told my wifey, and she said ... "But isn't our trip supposed to be in April" .... o_O


Arggghhh ... am I getting over excited or what ...


So, lets see what got me excited ...


Haha ... and the excitement won't stop here i guess ... while wifey goes shopping for her stuff, I have marked down the hobby shops to go to ... wish me Happy Hunting yahhh ...

at £16,works out to about $34 Aud,so it is a good buy, and im so horned that you do like my work with her,and also that ,


my build ,is able to be copyed as well, i do wish you luck when you start her,and feel free if you need any help with her, ;)


i do like the look of the other guy as well,how tall dose that one stand ?


and where are you getting the figures from,as it looks much better than the tammy ones,more detail, :)

yeah monica...that area is hot for us modellers...
 
its like there is about 20 model shops all very close,have not been there since i was young, :(


oh how i wish i could go for a walk about that part of town again,:rolleyes:
 
How many empty suitcases would you need though Monica, if you did take a stroll though there!

They don't have so many nowadays.


It is a dying trade ... but at least still more than what I can find back here where I live. Wifey gonna sponsor me HK$2000 to fill the luggage bag.... ;)

Well Ryan, you need to tell the story later after the HK trip. Might go there myself, without wifey sponsor I think, maybe only HK$ 200

it happens all to often Ryan,that a lot of shops close down, :(


my sons going home next week,and as always saydo you wont any think when im there,and i say thats a silly thing to ask
